چکیده
Hypogonadism in men can cause the development of obesity, primarily abdominal, associated with high cardio-metabolic risks. Chronic turn, almost inevitably leads to manifestation hypogonadism, which requires treatment and aggravates cardiovascular Testosterone therapy, prescribed according indications, has a significant positive effect not only on man’s sexual function, but also body weight, carbohydrate lipid metabolism, bone metabolism emotional component men’s health. The improvement many metabolic parameters verified hypogonadism occurs against background fairly long-term testosterone therapy. visceral obesity are now considered as components syndrome, mutually burden each other require comprehensive therapeutic approach.

Study the Relationship Between some Physiological Biomarkers in men suffering from obesity and the Risk of Metabolic Syndrome
This study aimed to estimate the levels of some biomarkers such as PON-1, PAI-1, OX-LDL, and ET-1 in the blood plasma of obese men and to study their relationship as risk predictors of metabolic syndrome. Method and result: The study involved the collection of 88 blood serum samples from men who have metabolic health, including 28 samples from normal weights, whose body mass index (B...

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the incidence of hypogonadism in men with metabolic syndrome and its correlation with serum insulin levels. METHODS Observational, transversal study with 80 men with metabolic syndrome. The individuals were divided into two groups: Group 1: 56 patients (70%) with total testosterone > 300 ng/dL (normal gonadal function); Group 2: 24 patients (30%) with total testosterone ...
متن کاملThe metabolic syndrome is frequent in Klinefelter's syndrome and is associated with abdominal obesity and hypogonadism.
OBJECTIVE Klinefelter's syndrome is associated with an increased prevalence of diabetes, but the pathogenesis is unknown. Accordingly, the aim of this study was to investigate measures of insulin sensitivity, the metabolic syndrome, and sex hormones in patients with Klinefelter's syndrome and an age-matched control group. RESEARCH DESIGN AN METHODS: In a cross-sectional study, we examined 71 pa...
متن کاملHypoadiponectinemia: A Link between Visceral Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome
Metabolic syndrome (MetS) represents a combination of cardiometabolic risk factors, including visceral obesity, glucose intolerance or type 2 diabetes, elevated triglycerides, reduced HDL cholesterol, and hypertension. MetS is rapidly increasing in prevalence worldwide as a consequence of the "epidemic" obesity, with a considerable impact on the global incidence of cardiovascular disease and ty...
